Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens Hospital Medicine opportunity in Hendersonville. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative inpatient care team in a well-supported hospital setting.
Schedule: Primarily daytime shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized patients
- Perform admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Tennessee license (or ability to obtain)
- Prior hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred
