- Patient Demographics: Adults and healthy pediatric patients
- Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 45 surgical cases per day
- Case Mix: Orthopedics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Plastic Surgery, Vascular, Colorectal Surgery, ENT, GI, and Urology

- Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia and surgical equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary surgical team
- Support Staff Available: CRNAs, anesthesia technicians, physician assistants, nurses, and OR technicians
- Reason for Coverage: Supplemental locum coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: May be available for candidates with clean files and no malpractice history

- Administration of anesthesia for bread and butter surgical cases
- Regional anesthesia blocks for operating room procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active New York Medical License
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS and MMR immunization required
- Experience: Prior hospital-based anesthesia experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Ability to work within a multidisciplinary operating room team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide anesthesia services for scheduled surgical procedures
- Deliver anesthesia care for orthopedic, general surgery, OB/GYN, and related cases
- Provide regional anesthesia blocks when appropriate for surgical cases
- Participate in call coverage including obstetric anesthesia cases
- Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, and operating room staff to ensure safe patient care
