Locum tenens CRNA position in Lewisburg, PA supporting inpatient and outpatient services. Coverage runs approximately May 1, 2026 through late July 2026 (13 weeks). Clinical-only schedule Monday–Friday with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts beginning at 7:00 AM (typical end times: 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM).

Clinical scope and patient population

• Care across the lifespan: pediatrics (ages 2+), adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Admit and round as required.
• Case mix: general surgery, obstetrics (C-sections/spinal anesthesia), GI, and other surgical procedures.
• Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia evaluations, intraoperative management, post-anesthesia care, and response to intraoperative emergencies.

Procedures and skills required

• General anesthesia and airway management (including intubation, LMA, and difficult airway).
• Regional anesthesia: spinals and epidurals.
• Monitored anesthesia care (MAC), IV sedation, ventilator management, and perioperative pain techniques.
• Ability to independently manage cases from pre-op through PACU and function in both supervised and independent practice models.

Facility and support

• EMR: Epic.
• Standard anesthesia equipment and anesthesia/surgical support staff available.
• Specialty backup and team collaboration onsite.
• Reason for coverage: supplemental.

Credentials, compliance, and logistics

• Active PA license, NBCRNA certification, and DEA required.
• ACLS required; up-to-date vaccines.
• Credentialing timeline: 60–120 days.
• Travel and lodging may be covered; local candidates preferred.
