Charge Nurse (LPN) – Evening 3p-11p Contract in Bangor, ME | $1,860/40h, LTC Skilled Care

Requirements:

• Active CMT, CNA/M, or LPN/LVN certification/license
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong medication safety and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate
• Commitment to caring for long-term care residents and rehabilitation patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications via approved routes under RN supervision; obtain approval before PRN meds
• Maintain medication carts and secure, organized medication storage
• Perform non-narcotic medication counts at shift change; monitor supplies and coordinate reorders
• Accurately document medications on the MAR
• Obtain and record vital signs, including apical pulse
• Observe, report, and document changes in resident condition
• Assist with resident care, including CNA-level tasks as needed
• Communicate clearly with nursing staff, providers, residents, and families
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions while maintaining professionalism
