Minimum Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Prior orthopedic or acute care nursing experience required
• Leadership/charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the orthopedic unit
• Provide direct patient care, including management of complex orthopedic cases
• Assist with staffing, patient assignments, and patient flow to optimize unit throughput
• Monitor and report on quality, safety, and patient outcome metrics
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff; support education, orientation, and competency verification
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Ensure unit compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
