Adelphi seeks an experienced inpatient psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adults with dual diagnoses in a residential setting in Kerr County, Texas. This full-time contract position combines telehealth and onsite coverage to support a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, regulatory-compliant care.

- Coverage: 3 weeks telehealth / 1 week onsite

Primary responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and develop/tailor treatment plans for adult residents with co-occurring disorders
- Provide ongoing face-to-face and virtual monitoring of patient progress and treatment response
- Respond to psychiatric emergencies as needed, including emergency calls and management of restraints
- Ensure documentation and care practices comply with facility policies, state regulations, and accrediting standards
- Collaborate with facility staff and other clinicians to coordinate care and participate in case reviews
- Adhere to attendance/leave policies and complete credentialing/clearance tasks; perform other duties as assigned consistent with physician responsibilities
Minimum requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license (Texas Medical Board) with no sanctions
- Active DEA registration
- Credentialing with hospitals used by the facility (must be completed prior to start)
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association–approved)
- Completion of all facility credentialing and clearance requirements before start and maintenance of active certifications throughout the assignment
