Join a busy outpatient clinic in Fortuna, CA as a locum tenens general dentist to provide supplemental clinical coverage. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. The initial commitment is a minimum of three months with the option to extend.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver comprehensive dental care to a mixed patient panel (about 16–18 patients per day; roughly 50% children and 50% adults).
• Use Epic for charting and close charts within 72 hours.
• Work clinical-only shifts in an outpatient setting, collaborating with on-site staff to maintain smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Shift and logistics

• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8a–5p (full-time).
• Patient volume: 16–18/day.
• Coverage period: ASAP – ongoing; minimum 3 months, option to extend.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.

Required credentials

• Active California dental license
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
• Active DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Current immunizations and TB status/X-ray results (e.g., flu vaccine as applicable)
