We’re seeking a General Dermatology physician to provide outpatient coverage in Portland, OR. This is a locum tenens role that begins May 1, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis to supplement the existing team. You’ll be working four days per week with typical clinic hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What the role looks like
- Clinical-only coverage in an outpatient setting
- Patient mix is primarily adult (about 97%) with a small pediatric portion (3%)
- Typical daily patient volume: 24–30
- Procedures commonly performed: biopsies, excisions, electrodesiccation, and cryosurgery
- Support: two medical assistants onsite
- Large local practice: part of a group of 21 dermatologists
- EMR: EPIC
- Facility is stroke-certified
- Temporary privileges are available
- Travel, lodging, and and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Valid DEA registration
- BLS certification
