Join a regional radiology team providing remote diagnostic imaging coverage for a mixed adult and pediatric population in East Chicago, Indiana. This full-time, permanent position supports one acute care hospital, one critical access hospital, an imaging center, and multiple outpatient clinics with inpatient and outpatient remote reads.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, X‑ray, and PET studies and deliver timely, clear reports.
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with referring providers, on-site support staff, and specialty services (including interventional radiology).
- Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and initiatives to maintain continuity and excellence across the Baxter Health network.
Qualifications
- Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain.
- Radiology board certified or board eligible (new graduates accepted).
- Demonstrated ability to read a high volume and wide variety of imaging studies preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills, collaborative approach, excellent communication, and effective time management.
Facility and support
- Remote diagnostic coverage with onsite mammography resources, interventional radiology backup, and night coverage available.
- Specialty backup and local support staff at all covered sites.
