JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active, Unrestricted New York Medical License Required
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (Must obtain BC within 5 years if BE)
- DEA: Active DEA with NY address including Schedules IIV required
- Certifications: - EM Physicians: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) - FM/IM Physicians: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), ATLS
- Experience: Residency completed in EM, IM, or FM
- Other Qualifications: - Must qualify for Moderate Sedation privileges - 2 years of case logs required - 50 CME hours within past 2 years required - Immunization compliance (Flu, PPD/Chest X-ray, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, N95 fit test) - Malpractice coverage minimum: $1.3M / $3.9M
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care for a wide range of patient conditions
- Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
- Manage critical care and stabilization of patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
