Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — 12-hr Shifts, Trauma Level IV, Travel/Lodging Covered

We’re seeking an Emergency Medicine provider to join a team in Antigo, Wisconsin, covering supplemental shifts on an ongoing locum tenens basis starting June 29, 2026. You’ll work in a 10-bed, Level IV trauma ED with an average daily volume of about 33 patients, supported by 2–4 RNs, 1 MA, and an onsite PA/APC.

Typical shifts are 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m. This is clinical-only coverage; EPIC is the EMR. Temporary privileges are available, and the assignment includes travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.

Procedures you should be comfortable performing include intubation, central line placement, chest tube insertion, lumbar punctures, and bedside ultrasound for FAST exams.

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin medical license or participation in IMLC
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• ACT 10 accepted
