Support: ED clinical support staff
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage

Required Procedures:

• Endotracheal intubation
• Central venous line placement
• Chest tube placement

Privileges & Compliance:

• Hospital privileges required

Credentials & Certifications:

• Active Arkansas medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BC preferred)
• BLS and ACLS

Experience:

• Emergency Department clinical experience preferred
• Academic medical center experience preferred

Key Duties:

• Provide emergency care to patients presenting to the ED across all age groups
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform required emergency procedures within EM scope of practice
• Coordinate care with consultants and hospital staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the facility EMR
