Job Description

Join a growing endocrinology team in Carrollton, GA, providing outpatient care to adults with endocrine and metabolic disorders. This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday–Friday daytime clinic schedule and minimal, rotational on-call responsibilities as required by the group.

What you’ll treat and how you’ll work

  • Primary focus: diabetes management, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and other endocrine issues.
  • Patient population: adult outpatient practice with consults and follow-ups; no inpatient rounding or admissions.
  • Typical volume: busy clinic with a high patient throughput.
  • Collaboration: work alongside an established care team including an Advanced Practice Provider, experienced nursing/support staff, and full specialty backup through Tanner Health System.
  • Technology: systemwide EPIC EMR with Abridge AI medical scribe assistance.

  • Reporting: integrated into the Tanner Health System with opportunities to participate in quality improvement and patient-centered care programs.
  • Reason for hire: regional growth and expansion of endocrine services to serve a service area of more than 400,000 residents.

Credentials and requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Active DEA registration required; BLS preferred.
  • Eligible for or able to obtain a Georgia medical license.
  • Open to experienced physicians and new graduates who have a strong interest in diabetes and endocrine disease management in a collaborative setting.
  • Typical credentialing timeline: approximately 60–90 days.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive compensation with a $50,000 sign-on bonus plus a $50,000 starting incentive.
  • Relocation assistance up to $14,000.
