Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of cardiology or acute care nursing experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiac medications and conditions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to cardiology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
- Perform patient assessments, triage, and vital signs
- Assist physicians with cardiac procedures and diagnostic testing (EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors)
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Coordinate care, referrals, and follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety, and infection control standards
