Travel RN – Cardiology Clinic (Glenwood Springs, CO)

Join a cardiology clinic in Glenwood Springs, CO, on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This 38-hour position pays $2,276 per week and supports outpatient cardiology care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum one year of cardiology or acute care nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac conditions and medications
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to cardiology patients in an outpatient clinic
• Conduct patient assessments, triage, and vital sign monitoring
• Assist providers with cardiac procedures and diagnostic testing (EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors)
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Provide patient education on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Adhere to clinical protocols, safety practices, and infection-control standards
