Position type: Locum Tenens — Clinical only (Supplemental coverage)
Coverage period: ASAP through January 1, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, preference for five 8-hour days; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch
Patient panel: Average daily volume ~24; all ages (newborn through elderly)
Scope of practice / required skills:
- General outpatient family medicine
- Pediatric procedures and newborn care (birth–30 days), infant, toddler, child, adolescent (up to 18 years)
- Comfortable practicing in a rural setting and seeing all age ranges
Support team: 2 NPs/PAs, 5 MAs, 7 office staff
EMR: NextGen
Compensation & benefits provided by facility:
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Required credentials:
- Active New Mexico medical license
- Board certified (BC)
- BLS certified
