Schedule: Per diem; 1 day per week. Half day (4 hrs) or full day (4–8 hrs). Weekend availability optional/desired.

Role summary:
Provide one-time compensation & pension (C&P) and separation health assessments. Encounters are primarily interview-based with focused physical assessments (e.g., range-of-motion and muscle strength testing). No treatment or prescribing; evaluations require review of records and completion in VES provider portal. Use of a goniometer is required.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and diabetes-related evaluations as indicated.
• Complete Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the VES portal (training provided).
• Perform METs testing and assess respiratory and cardiovascular function when required.
• Complete record review prior to most evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma license
• Board certified
• DMA certification or willing to obtain
• Proficient in METs testing and in evaluating/diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Comfortable with musculoskeletal exams and goniometer use
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility
• Must own a laptop (PC only; no Macs/Apple) and have a private office for telework as needed
• Self-query NPDB (pulled within the last month)
• Copy of ECFMG certificate if medical education was completed outside the U.S.
• Candidates with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or general medicine OR compensation & pension experience are encouraged to apply
