CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Days, Cardiac OR, Newark DE — BLS/CNOR Preferred

Join a collaborative CVOR team in Newark, DE, working day shifts in a fast-paced cardiac surgery environment. We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who enjoys hands-on perioperative care and strong teamwork.

What you’ll do

• Get patients and the CVOR ready for cardiac procedures, ensuring safety and sterility.
• Serve as a circulator or scrub, assist the surgical team, and continuously monitor patient status.
• Administer medications and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Accurately document care, operative details, and patient outcomes.
• Teach patients and families about pre- and post-op expectations and recovery.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and CVOR colleagues to coordinate care.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll practice.
• Experience in cardiovascular or perioperative nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and clear communication.
• BLS required; CNOR or specialty CVOR certifications are a plus.
