Join a busy emergency department in Lewiston, ME as a contract Registered Nurse working nights (7p–7a). Start ASAP for a 36-hour assignment at $2,308. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-acuity settings.

Key qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• ER experience or recent acute-care background preferred
• Current BLS; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills

Core responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients on arrival and prioritize care needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocol
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and follow-up
• Engage in department quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives
