• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM (mix of two 12-hr shifts and one 4-hr shift)
• Alternate schedule: five 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM shifts per week
  Hours: 40 hours/week
  Rate: $40/hour

Overview:
Provide nursing care and treatment to individuals with complex medical and behavioral health needs in a residential facility. Work under limited RN supervision and apply independent judgment in clinical tasks.

Minimum qualifications:

• Completion of an approved LPN/LVN program
• Current LPN/LVN license eligible to practice in Texas or in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification
• Preferably 1+ year experience in behavioral health or residential care
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Computer and EHR documentation skills preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced vocational nursing tasks during assigned shifts
• Administer medications and treatments (oral, rectal, internal, injectable) per orders and protocol
• Collect specimens and perform health screenings
• Monitor patients during treatments and procedures; document observations and report to the care team
• Provide patient education related to health goals and care plans
• Perform technical nursing procedures in accordance with facility and state regulations
• Instruct and support direct care staff in providing medically appropriate care, including assistance with turning/repositioning during procedures
• Ensure availability and proper use of medical and treatment supplies
• Maintain accurate medical records in EHR or paper charts; complete timely documentation
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety and infection control procedures
• Maintain regular attendance and work assigned or rotating shifts as required
