Travel RN – Emergency Room (Nights) — Calais, ME (Contract)

Join a fast-paced Emergency Department team in Calais, ME on a contract/travel basis. This night-shift RN position starts ASAP and offers $2,308 per 36-hour period. Ideal candidates bring ER or acute-care experience, strong clinical judgment, and clear communication skills.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• ER experience or acute-care background preferred
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients on arrival, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions safely and timely
• Monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
• Contribute to ER quality improvement and safety initiatives
