Summary:
Provide nursing support to students in a school setting under the supervision of an RN or school health administrator, following established protocols and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Active Ohio LPN license
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and meet school employment requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized student health plans and school nursing services
• Provide direct nursing care under RN or health administrator supervision
• Monitor students with medical needs and respond to acute health concerns
• Accurately document nursing services and maintain student health records
• Communicate and coordinate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers regarding student health and safety
• Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in required trainings and professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Clinical competence in basic nursing procedures and medication administration per school policy
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within the scope of LPN practice and under supervisory direction

Compensation:

• $38 per hour
