Travel RN - ICU Nights (Springfield, MA)

Join a Springfield, MA hospital as a travel Registered Nurse in the ICU. This night-shift contract role starts ASAP, follows a 7:00 PM–7:30 AM schedule, and pays $2,434 per 36-hour shift.

Requirements:

• Active RN license valid in Massachusetts.
• ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; specialty ICU certifications a plus.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Continuously assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Safely administer medications, blood products, and life-support interventions.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed.
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary ICU team and educate patients and families about care plans and critical care processes.
