LPN/LVN – Long-Term Care (Clovis, NM) | 6‑Week Contract, $1,138/36 hrs, Day Shift

We’re seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join a Clovis, NM team on a 6-week contract. This is a local, non-travel assignment starting ASAP with a schedule of Monday–Wednesday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. Compensation is $1,138 for 36 hours.

What you’ll bring

• Current, active LPN state license
• BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician direction—administering medications, managing wounds, monitoring vitals, and helping create and follow individualized care plans. You’ll perform patient assessments, document changes, and communicate findings to the care team. Other daily responsibilities include IV and catheter care, collecting specimens for labs, delivering patient and family education, promoting infection control, and responding to emergencies with appropriate interventions. You may also supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel as needed and will follow facility procedures for safe medication and supply handling.

Teamwork and professional growth
You’ll collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care. We expect ongoing engagement with current nursing practices and participation in required training and education.

Be prepared to support patient comfort and safety (mobility, positioning, pain management), advocate for patient needs, and take on other duties as assigned by management.
