Schedule: Mon–Fri, 07:00 AM–03:30 PM
Rate: Local: $1,264 / 40 hours

Requirements:

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
  • BLS certification

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician guidance (medication administration, wound care, vital signs).
  • Perform patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and participate in care planning.
  • Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments accurately per protocols.
  • Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds/incisions for infection or complications.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration) and report changes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records of condition changes, treatments, and medications.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
  • Administer and monitor IV medications/fluids; ensure IV line integrity.
  • Provide catheter care, including insertion assistance, maintenance, and monitoring for issues.
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
  • Assist with patient comfort, positioning, mobility, and pain management.
  • Respond to emergencies following protocols and provide basic life support as needed.
  • Follow infection control practices and use PPE appropriately.
  • Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies according to regulations.
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs.
  • May supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
  • Participate in ongoing education to maintain current nursing knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
