Schedule: Sun, Fri, Sat | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Rate: Local: $1,472 / 40 hours

Requirements:

  • Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the state of New Hampshire
  • BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction: medication administration, wound care, vital sign monitoring.
  • Perform patient assessments (physical exam, history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately, following protocols and documenting administration.
  • Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds/incisions for signs of infection or complications.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations) and report changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate patient records: condition changes, treatments, medications, and interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
  • Initiate and monitor IV therapy and fluids per facility policy.
  • Provide catheter care, including insertion when authorized, maintenance, and monitoring for complications.
  • Collect and label patient specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
  • Assist with patient mobility, positioning, comfort measures, and pain management.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as required.
  • Follow infection control protocols and proper use of PPE.
  • Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies safely and in accordance with regulations.
  • Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

No additional certifications beyond those listed are required unless specified by facility policy.
