Rate: $2,941 / 36 hours
Core requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or mother-baby nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-education skills
- BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred
Primary responsibilities:
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and fetal heart tracings during labor and delivery
- Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care, including newborn stabilization and assessments
- Administer medications and interventions per provider orders and facility protocols
- Provide patient and family education on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient education; communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team
