Contract LPN/LVN – Long Term Care (Las Cruces, NM)

We’re looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join a team in Las Cruces, NM on a 9-week contract. This is a non-travel assignment that starts ASAP, with a night shift schedule (06:00 PM–06:30 AM). Compensation is $1,152 per 36 hours.

What you’ll need

• Valid, active LPN license for the state
• Current BLS certification

What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians. Typical duties include administering medications and IV fluids, monitoring and documenting vital signs, performing wound care, and assisting with patient assessments and care plans. You’ll collect specimens, manage urinary catheters, support mobility and comfort needs, and educate patients and families about conditions and self-care. You’ll also be expected to follow infection control practices, safely handle medications and supplies, respond to emergencies with appropriate basic life support, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team. In some settings you may supervise CNAs or other unlicensed assistive personnel. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
