Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Nights, Chariton IA (Sun–Tue)

We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a Medical-Surgical team in Chariton, IA. This is a travel/contract opportunity starting ASAP, working nights (Sun–Tue, 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.). Pay is $2,052 for a 36-hour week.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Medical-surgical experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and clear communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS preferred depending on patient population

What you’ll do

• Routinely assess and monitor patients, including vital signs and condition changes
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and necessary interventions
• Accurately document care and escalate changes to the care team as needed
• Teach patients and families about care plans and self-management
• Work with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care
