We're seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a sports medicine team in Atlanta, GA for locum tenens coverage. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient care and focuses on adult patients with sports-related musculoskeletal issues. The assignment runs from July 6, 2026 to October 9, 2026 with a flexible clinical schedule to be determined.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide hands-on clinical care in a sports medicine setting, evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries and acute sports-related conditions.
- Perform sports medicine procedures and musculoskeletal evaluations, manage injuries, and collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and help ensure consistently high-quality patient care.
Who we’re looking for
- Active Georgia NP license and active DEA registration.
- Board certified or board eligible.
- BLS required (ACLS preferred).
- Prior sports medicine experience is preferred; local candidates are encouraged.
- Hospital privileges are required for this assignment.
