Travel RN – Med-Surg/Telemetry (Kealakekua, HI)

Join a team in Kealakekua, HI as a contract Registered Nurse working in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting. This role starts ASAP and offers 36-hour assignments with a competitive rate of $2,308. Shifts are 12-hour days (7a–7p) or nights (7p–7a).

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll practice.
• Experience on med-surg or telemetry units is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, solid organizational skills, and clear communication.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred for telemetry/cardiac assignments.

What you’ll do

• Assess and continuously monitor patients’ conditions, including cardiac telemetry when applicable.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report changes in patient status to the care team.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, and self-management.
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care and support positive outcomes.
