Locum Tenens OB/GYN — Inpatient/Outpatient, Night Call, Travel/Lodging & Malpractice Covered

We’re seeking an OB/GYN to provide locum tenens coverage in Glenwood, Minnesota, working both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is ongoing coverage beginning ASAP, with one week of coverage per month. You’ll handle clinical duties plus night beeper call during your assigned coverage week; the clinic schedule will be confirmed with you.

What you’ll be seeing and doing

• Care for obstetrics and gynecology patients (roughly a 60% OB / 40% GYN case mix).
• Manage labor and delivery for the facility — the hospital sees about 105 deliveries per year.
• Admit and round on patients as needed and document care in the Meditech EMR.
• Provide general gynecologic evaluations and treatments.
• Coordinate referrals and care for high-risk pregnancies with St. Cloud or Twin Cities centers.
• Handle phone consults as arranged.

Facility and support

• Critical Access Hospital with 22 beds.
• Standard OB/GYN clinical equipment and clinical support staff are available.
• Specialty backup exists for high-risk cases (transfers to larger regional centers).
• This role is supplemental coverage; emergency temporary privileges and expedited credentialing are available.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Minnesota medical license preferred.
• Active DEA certificate required.
• BLS and ACLS preferred.
• Prior OB/GYN experience and ability to manage clinic plus call coverage preferred.
