- Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in observation status
- Perform assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Monitor diagnostic results and patient response to treatment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients on care plans and discharge instructions
- Prepare patients for admission or discharge as appropriate
- Document assessments and care in the EMR
