Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel $1,754/35 hrs; Local $1,726/35 hrs
Type: Contract/Travel

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate, treat, and support patients in regaining daily living skills and independence. This role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and documenting patient progress to ensure safe, effective transitions back to home and work environments.

Required qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapy state license.
  • CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, AED included).

Core responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs to identify limitations and set measurable goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve functional ability and independence in daily activities.
  • Recommend, demonstrate, and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
  • Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs to build skills and confidence.
  • Educate patients and families on condition management, safety, and strategies to promote independence.
  • Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
  • Communicate and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support comprehensive treatment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge planning.
  • Support patients’ successful reintegration into community and work settings.
  • Stay current with professional best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
