Location: Pennsburg, PA | Start: ASAP | Duration: 14 weeks | Schedule: 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Type: Contract/Travel
Compensation: Travel: $1,775/35 hrs; Local: $1,750/35 hrs

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered, goal-driven care in a clinical setting. The ideal clinician will assess functional and cognitive abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize independence and community/work reintegration.

Required Qualifications

  • Current, active Occupational Therapy state license
  • CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs to identify limitations and establish measurable goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques to improve activities of daily living, functional skills, and independence
  • Recommend, train in, and fit adaptive equipment and assistive devices
  • Provide hands-on instruction and practice for daily living tasks
  • Educate patients and families on condition management, safety, and strategies to promote independence
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress; maintain accurate evaluations and progress notes
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive outcomes
  • Support patients’ safe return to community roles and work when appropriate
  • Stay current with evidence-based occupational therapy practices and participate in professional development
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
