Adelphi is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to provide professional nursing services on a contract basis at a facility in Granville County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and care for adolescents in a structured setting.

Requirements:
- Active North Carolina RN License
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work independently as the sole medical provider when required
- Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional, or emergency nursing
- Basic computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Teams or WebEx
- Proficiency with PointClickCare electronic charting
- Must complete orientation (virtual or in-person, followed by facility tour)
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care within the full scope of RN practice, with a focus on adolescents
- Administer prescribed medications safely and in compliance with regulations
- Monitor and document changes in patients medical conditions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate closely with direct care staff to ensure continuity of care
- Work independently as the sole nurse on-site during parts of the shift while collaborating with staff
- Promote health, safety, and wellness in a secure environment
- Comply with all facility security rules and procedures
- Participate in required trainings and virtual meetings, remaining visible on camera as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
