Travel Psychiatric RN — Bethel, AK | High-Paying $2,163/32-hr Contract (Days/Nights)

We’re looking for a compassionate, confident RN to join a psychiatric team in Bethel, AK on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. You’ll work both day and night shifts in a role that blends clinical care, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This assignment is 32 hours with a rate of $2,163 per 32-hour period.

What you’ll be doing

• Regularly assess and monitor patients’ mental health status, recognizing changes and responding appropriately.
• Safely administer medications and therapeutic interventions.
• Assist with and support individual and group therapy activities and provide patient and family education.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of care and report relevant changes to the team.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and nursing colleagues to deliver coordinated, high-quality behavioral health care.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll be practicing.
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage crises calmly.
• BLS required; psychiatric or behavioral health certifications are a plus.
