Requirements:

- BLS required; CPI or crisis prevention training preferred
- Previous behavioral health or emergency experience preferred
- Strong assessment, de-escalation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-acuity crisis situations
Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis assessment and psychiatric nursing care
- Perform mental health and suicide risk assessments
- Monitor patient safety and implement de-escalation techniques
- Administer psychiatric medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with behavioral health and ED teams
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment and resources
- Document assessments and interventions in EMR
