We’re seeking a Pathology-focused Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens support in Georgetown, SC. This role is lab-based and clinical only, starting ASAP with ongoing coverage and a flexible schedule. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What you’ll be doing
- Perform gross examination and specimen grossing for surgical pathology cases.
- Assist with day-to-day laboratory operations as needed.
- Keep accurate documentation and ensure compliance with laboratory standards and protocols.
- Work closely with pathology staff and the broader healthcare team to support patient care.
Who we’re looking for
- Active state PA license required.
- Prior experience with specimen grossing and pathology procedures is preferred.
