Join a Level I trauma center in St. Louis, MO, to provide pediatric otolaryngology coverage in an inpatient setting. This locum tenens role supports an active pediatric ENT service (infants through 18 years) and is needed ASAP through March 1, 2027. Clinical duties include weekday shifts Monday–Friday, 7:40 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with beeper call coverage (1:3) for days, nights and weekends; call shifts are 7 a.m.–7 p.m. with a 30-minute response expectation. Call responsibilities include inpatient and ED consults, patient escalations, rounding on admitted ENT patients, and urgent surgeries/procedures. Typical patient volume is 26–30 visits per day with 1–2 admissions while on call; expect approximately three phone consults per shift.

Required procedures cover general surgical and non-surgical otolaryngology, endoscopic procedures (septal, sinus, bronchoscopy, flexible and rigid laryngoscopy), and tracheotomy. The department has 150 beds, Pediatric ED Level III, uses Epic, and is supported by 1 RN, 2 APPs, 2 MAs, and 1 office staff. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Qualifications: board certified, pediatric-trained, active Missouri license or IMLC participation, BLS and ATLS. This assignment is local-only (no flights or lodging provided).
