Contract (Non-Travel) Registered Nurse Supervisor opportunity in Jersey Shore, PA. Start ASAP for a 5-week assignment. Schedule: 07:00 AM–03:30 PM. Local rate: $2,360/40 hours.

Position overview:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Serve as a resource and mentor to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs while coordinating care delivery and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide nursing personnel in adherence to facility policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate and oversee patient care activities, including assessments, treatments, documentation, and care plan updates.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling to support efficient workflow and coverage.
• Mentor staff and deliver ongoing education to enhance clinical competence and performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control protocols, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Promote clear communication among the multidisciplinary care team and address operational or clinical concerns promptly.
• Advocate for patient-centered care and respond to patient questions or complaints.
• Respond to medical emergencies per established protocols.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation.
• Stay current with applicable healthcare regulations and enforce staff adherence to policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Registered Nurse state license.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• BLS certification.
