- Rate: $1,930/36-hours
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (TCU or Med-Surg preferred)
- BLS certification required (ACLS may be required by agency)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work varied shifts and maintain scheduling flexibility
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with facility policies and standards
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Manage and care for patients with wound vacs, chest tubes, NG/G-tubes, tracheostomies, and PICC/PORT lines
- Collaborate with aides and other staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Float to Med Surg or Surgical Pediatrics units as needed
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
