Locum Tenens Urgent Care NP/PA — Danville/Lynchburg/Martinsville, VA (ASAP Ongoing)

We’re looking for a confident, autonomous Nurse Practitioner to join an urgent care team covering Danville, Lynchburg, and Martinsville, VA. This outpatient locum tenens role provides supplemental clinical coverage on an ongoing basis and operates on a 12-hour shift (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.). You’ll see patients across the lifespan (children through geriatrics) and handle episodic care and injury treatment in a busy urgent care environment.

What you’ll do

• Provide independent urgent care evaluations and treatments for acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform episodic care and minor procedures as needed.
• Supervise other APPs remotely (phone supervision).
• Document care in Anthem EMR.

Who we’re looking for

• Active Virginia NP license.
• Board certified (ANCC or AANP).
