Schedule:

• Clinic: May 20–22 — 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hr lunch)
• Call:
  • May 20–22 — night beeper call 5:00 PM–8:00 AM
  • May 23–25 — 24-hour call coverage 8:00 AM–8:00 AM
• Call Type/Ratio: Beeper; 1:1

Patient & Clinical Volume:

• Adults only
• ~20 clinic patients per day
• Admissions and rounding included
• Phone consults required
• Case mix: General urology (clinic procedures and OR surgical cases)

Facility:

• 99 hospital beds
• Adult Level IV trauma
• EMR: Cerner
• Equipment: Disposable flexible cystoscopes and standard urology instruments
• Support: 1 Physician Assistant + medical assistants
• Specialty backup available via hospital service lines
• Reason for coverage: Supplemental

Privileges & Compliance:

• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges TBD
• Credentialing timeline: ~30 days

Compensation & Benefits:

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered per contract

Required Procedures:

• General urology procedures
• Surgical urology in the operating room
• In-clinic procedures including vasectomy (infant circumcision optional)

Requirements:

• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active DEA registration
• Facility-required vaccinations (COVID-19 and influenza) or approved exemption
• Minimum 1 year urology practice experience
• Cerner experience preferred

Duties:

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage and inpatient consultations
• Perform urologic surgeries and in-clinic procedures
• Manage ~20 clinic patients/day
• Coordinate care with hospital staff and PA
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in Cerner
