Job Description

Portneuf Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our well-established team at Portneuf Cancer Center in Pocatello, Idaho.  Our team brings together a broad range of oncology expertise and strong collaborative relationships allowing us to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care close to home. This position is ideal for a physician who is passionate about advancing cancer treatment, committed to meaningful patient impact, and eager to join a forward-thinking, growth-driven practice serving communities across southern Idaho.

About the Position:

  • Join an established oncology group consisting of 2 radiation oncology physicians & 2 medical oncology physicians
  • Clinical support staff includes: 2 Rad Onc RN’s, 4 Radiation Therapists, Dosimetrist, Physicist, in-house oncology certified Pharmacist, Oncology Dietician, Social Worker, Nurse Navigator and many more
  • Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator - TrueBeam installed 2024 with Varian Identify SGRT
  • 12 chemo bays
  • CT onsite
  • QOPI certified
  • 1:3 call, very low burden
  • Tuesday-Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Close relationship with The Huntsman Cancer Center and University of Utah
  • Hospital Employed
  • Full complement of medical and surgical specialists within the medical group
  • EMR: Epic, Aria & Eclipse
