**Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery NP | Clinic + Call | Springfield, OH**
**Why This Role**
- High-acuity cardiothoracic service with ICU and surgical exposure
- Work alongside experienced cardiovascular surgeons in a team-based setting
- Short-term assignment with strong procedural experience
**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: Clinic + Call
- Start date: April 2026
- End date: July 2026
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Patients per day: 5-20
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days with potential temp privileges in 45 days
**Clinical Details**
- Cardiothoracic and vascular patient management in ICU/CVICU and perioperative settings
- Rounding, care coordination, ordering and interpreting tests
- Vein harvesting and vascular conduit retrieval preferred
- OR assistance not required
**Requirements**
- Board certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
- Active Ohio license preferred or ability to obtain quickly
- ACLS
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred or strong critical care experience
- Clean malpractice history
- Self-query NPDB within 30 days
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
