Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage across two sites in Pennsylvania. Providers must be flexible and open to all shift types and both locations.
Details:
- Providers will be scheduled at one location per day
- Not a trauma center
- ED Coverage: 1.8–2.0 patients per hour
- Perform standard emergency surgical procedures (e.g., chest tubes, cricothyrotomy)
- Enter ED Bridge orders for admissions
- Complete all charting within 24 hours post-shift
- APP support available (providers expected to supervise but APPs work independently)
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Non-EM boarded physicians must have BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
- Active Pennsylvania license (or willing to obtain)
- DEA required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
