Experienced CRNA (Locum Tenens) — 5x8 M–F, High-Volume ORs & NORA, Greensboro, NC

We’re looking for an experienced CRNA to provide full-time locum tenens coverage in Greensboro, NC from June 15, 2026 through December 18, 2026. This is a clinical-only role supporting both inpatient and outpatient cases, with Moses Cone as the primary location and the expectation to float between sites as needed.

Schedule and coverage

• Full-time: five shifts per week (Monday–Friday), 7:00 am–3:00 pm (5x8 schedule).
• Monday and Friday coverage is especially high priority.
• Coverage period: June 15, 2026 – December 18, 2026.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide anesthesia across a broad surgical mix (general, ortho, GYN, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neuro, trauma).
• Support NORA procedures including IR, EP, endoscopy, and MRI.
• Monitor and titrate anesthesia and vitals throughout the perioperative period.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and the anesthesiology team to optimize patient safety and outcomes.
• Adhere to facility protocols, documentation standards, and scheduling requirements.

Patient and case volume

• All age groups.
• High-volume environment: 60+ cases per day.
• Wide-ranging complexity from routine cases to cardiac, neuro, trauma, and NORA work.

Facility and equipment

• EMR: Epic.
• Anesthesia machines: Drager.
• Monitors: Philips systems.
• Specialty backup: Anesthesiology team available.
• Support model: Medical direction.
• Reason for need: Supplemental coverage.

Required qualifications

• Active NC nursing license (or compact eligible).
• Board Certified CRNA.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 12 years of CRNA experience (no new graduates).
• Ability to float between locations and flexibility with scheduling.

Credentials, compliance, and logistics

• Hospital privileges required; credentialing typically takes 60–90 days.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered per facility guidelines.
