Seeking a board-certified Critical Care physician for locum tenens coverage in Boise and Nampa, Idaho. This inpatient role begins June 15 and continues on an ongoing supplemental basis. Coverage is clinical only and includes ICU care, daily rounding, admissions, and occasional pulmonary consults, with formal supervising physician support and occasional supervision of Family Medicine residents.

Schedule and Locations

• Boise: Jul 6–19 (7p–7a); Aug 3–9 (7a–7p); Aug 24–30 (TBD)
• Nampa: Jun 15–21 (7p–7a); Jul 20–26 (7p–7a); Jul 27–Aug 2 (7a–7p); Aug 10–23 (7p–7a)
• Shift windows: 7a–7p and 7p–7a

Clinical Scope and Environment

• Adult trauma patients (Trauma Level II)
• ICU census ~25; admissions ~5 per night
• Responsibilities: ICU coverage, admitting, rounding, and intermittent pulmonary consults
• Support: Advanced Practice Providers on service
• EMR: Epic

Minimum Requirements

• Active Idaho license or participation in IMLC
• Board certification in Critical Care and completion of Critical Care fellowship
• DEA, CSR/CDS, ACLS
• Up-to-date case logs and NPDB report (within 30 days)
• Current health immunizations and proof of COVID vaccination
• Comfortable performing ICU procedures
• Availability to cover most scheduled blocks (not isolated single blocks)
