Travel RN - Emergency Room (State College, PA) | $1,930/36h Days, ASAP Start

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join an Emergency Room team in State College, PA. This is a contract/travel role starting ASAP on daytime shifts (6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.) with a 36-hour schedule and a pay rate of $1,930 per 36 hours.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Emergency room experience or a strong acute care background is preferred.
• Solid clinical judgment, critical thinking, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certifications are a plus.

What you’ll do

• Triage and assess patients as they arrive, prioritizing care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and urgent interventions as required.
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge or follow-up instructions.
• Support and participate in ER quality improvement and safety initiatives.
